Special Blend
Special Blend is a complete eco-system in a bottle and works for both salt & fresh water. It dramatically reduces the need for water changes and the frequency of cleaning and is free of chemicals. It can be used as a starter for new tanks for biological cycling and boosting. It is an organic waste degrader, naturally stimulates plant growth and enhances their ability to utilize light, water and nutrients, lowers ammonia levels and reduces nitrates. Special Blend also removes odours & clears cloudy water, maintains established tanks breaks down residue on gravel and breaks down protein foam. The bacteria in Special Blend is compatible with biological filters and UV lights, works well with activated carbon and is compatible with copper based products. This product is not a chemical and is harmless to humans animals fish and plants. Available in two sizes.

Starting a new tank can normally take several weeks before fish or coral are ready to be introduced. That time can be reduced dramatically by using Special Blend from the Ecological Laboratories Microbe-Lift range. It contains microbes that will do all the work for you in a matter of days. You will find upon using Special Blend that it has a strong smell, that is sulphur that is used to act as a preservative for the microbes and will dissipate quickly.
High levels of nitrites can be a problem in a new tank and as the bacteria in Special Blend are nitrifying bacteria you'll need a nitrite remover. If used in conjunction with Special Blend, Nite-Out removes the nitrites and also has the added benefit of removing ammonia as well. The two products will then work together in a cycle, providing the perfect solution to starting a new tank.

TheraP increases resistance to pathogens & parasites by providing a natural aquarium eco-system for better overall fish health and improved water quality, and can be used with salt & fresh water. Nite-Out II
Nite-Out II is specially formulated for rapid ammonia & nitrite reduction. It is designed specifically for aquarium waters that contain marine life. Its highly specialised microbial consortium of nitrifying cultures are formulated to eliminate ammonia via a natural biological process termed nitrification. The cultures in Nite-Out II will establish, promote or stabilise and maintain nitrification, eliminating the toxic effect of ammonia. It comprises select micro-organisms that are autotrophic (able to use dioxide as the sole use of carbon) and are relatively slow growing, with their performance and rate of growth impacted by the environmental parameters required for nitrification.
